I am using Piterpan as a skeleton theme in order to create my own. I chose that one because it had some flash elements in the banner that I had never seen before.. anyway..

Every time I try and change two or three specific lines on the master and home templates (notably the header background image or color,) my text editor quits, as though those lines are protected by something.

Sometimes I will get .pnAntiCracker emails talking about attempted hacks considerably later, and from what I can tell, they were from the things I tried when my text editor quit.

I have kept all of the document headers (and credits!) changed my security to "low" and am still having this problem.

Advice, anyone? I need to get this thing edited, and I want to stop hacking at my own website!
