Unable to embed YouTube code in News Article

Logged in as admin, disabled safehtml and set ALL relevant HTML tags to "allowed" in settings.
When embedding the YouTube code in a new article (News), and choosing the output type (HTML-Formatted), it only shows up as HTML code after saving. The youtube video never shows up.
I looked over several posts regarding this, and it appears some people have been able to get it to work without Pagesetter.
Any suggestions?
