Just curious.. I was wandering in the "Meet the Team" website section and noted that that page doesn't seem up to date.

Some members seem no more active for some time now (for instance):

    David Nelson
    Frank Chestnut
    Vanessa Haakenson
    ...

while others, working actively (see forums, SVN, etc.), are omitted (for instance):

    Jorn Wildt
    Bernd Plagge
    ...

So, can we have un update on this ? In particular, should be interesting knowing who the new members are and their roles, and if the "absent" ones left temporarily or once and for all.

    Hi,

As you probably know, PN is a volunteer project. This does not allow all members to be 'active' all the time. Some members are only active behind the scenes, and others do take breaks from the project.

In my case, I have fallen victim to some pretty grave personal issues. I have resigned my documentation Lead, as I am no longer in a capacity to fulfill this task. But I am back and 'trying' to get my head back in the game.

But like many other team members, real life comes first. Work, family, personal well-being all come first. PostNuke is a 'hobby' not a job. For us team-members, while we love PN, and feel that it is important, it is never a life priority. Also some members work on PN side projects that do not slip into the core. Also some members, seem to work 'seasonally'.

That said, I do wonder the status of some members from time to time. But the project moves along--slow but with quality a priority.

David and to some extent Franky are still around and active. Otherwise, it's up to individuals themselves whether they want to be listed on the meet the team page, it's encouraged but not compulsory. Newer team members might not have got around to it yet icon_smile
