Hi
I am trying to do - and I stress, not used PostNuke for several years - a basic theme like I have on my current site - www.lynefc.co.uk/teams/
Going to have same top banner, same colour of the pages, and a background picture. Nothing fancy.
I would also like to - if at all possible, use the same font size such as the one on postnukes main site as this it will be good.
Any advice appreciated - or if anyone knows of a free thmese simialr that I can alter - let me know as currently cannot locate one.
Any help appreciated.

I agree here with dits. Your theme is simple enough to port with minimal effort. Those documents should help... they are geared for .8, though.
Really, if you take a xanthia theme and look at it, it should make some sense of how to build your own. You will have to know HTML, CSS, page 1, first paragraph (joking) of Smarty.
