Hi,
I've been asked to update/maintain a site running PostNuke 0.7.5.0. I'd like to have a custom start page instead of the news module. I went to administer website -> settings then to the "start page" drop down list but I don't see anything appropriate. What must I do?
Thanks....

I guess it all depends on what you would think would be appropriate. What is the web site? Is there another web site that kinda sorta does what you're looking for?

What I'd like to do is this. Right now the start page has a banner across the top and columns on each side, and the middle part shows the latest items from the News module. I'd like to replace the middle part (the News module) with a custom HTML page I write. Is this possible in 0.7.5.0?

First of all your post-nuke version is way outdated. Upgrade that.... Solution to your problem: There is a way to change the front-page and assign a different page than news module as your starting page.
>>>>> Upgrade your site to .764
It can be done through the settings....(Just specify what module or block you want as your front-page)...

heh, I took "update/maintain" to automatically include upgrading to the latest version of PostNuke. I agree with James, once you're upgraded to .764 you will have several options available.
