This new IE7 is crashing my sites that use autothem (FireFox works great) The pages take forever to load, and when they do, you better not scroll or they all blur and disappear for a while!
I need to keep the themes as-is, but I also need to make sure they will work with IE7 (winxp-pro)
Is there an auto-theme fix or is it better to convert to Xanthia??
Websites are
www.intimeradio.com - running slightly modified AT-Moody
&
www.outoftimeradio.org with a slightly modified AT-IceCold

Are you sure it's the theme and not one of your blocks? Are all pages doing this?
For example if you call http://www.intimeradio.com/index.php?name=Web_Links (just weblinks) still not working?

I checked over your site in IE 7 and FF and every page worked fine?
As espaan said, it is most likely a block or code that is causing the problem, do you have anything pulling outside content?

Thanks to all who responded ---- the www.outoftimeradio.org is a good example of what could happen when you start with a theme installed back in 2001 on PN 624 (?) and after all the upgrades from .624 to .764 then all the tweaking of modules to keep them working with each upgrade (if possible) .... add Internet Explorer wierd way of interpreting some codes - especially some faulty PN codes ....
Anyway - I began removing old modules not used - site began to load faster but blur was still there.
Modules with the most effects on the website (no longer active) were:
PN-bbsmile PN-bbcode and can't remember the third PN-bb..
pnForum was removed a bit back thanks to hackers and spammers
postcalendar was beginning to bog down processing
TypeTool was a nightmare at times
there were a couple of other old third party modules that I kept running over the years that I am assuming each contribubted a bit to the overall problems.
The last module I removed that seemed to clear almost everything bad was one called "PsychicTest" (Are you psychic?) which was a small simple and fun module that used the PN showimages.js (!!??)
Of course, using an old embedded tables/frames theme with badly hacked CSS (mine) didn't help matters either.
Thanks especially to Dave Pahl who gave me the insightes especially into the javascript.

Nice feedback and it seems you had some good hunting for the bad modules
