I'm not sure if this module is considered core so please excuse me if I posted in the wrong area.

After reading the Install.txt file, I am not sure whether to install the version 2.2 files over the .764 Downloads directory or not. The 2 modules have the exact same name but the files in them are different. That means I will end up with orphaned files in the Downloads directory which is messy.

What about the /includes and /pnTemp folders? I would think that I should copy them as part of the installation as well. Not mentioned in the Install.txt file.

It almost seems to me that I should deactivate the original Downloads module that came with .764 and delete the directory from the modules folder prior to installation of Downlaods 2.2. This way I would have a clean installation of Downloads 2.2.

I decided to deactivate the standard Download module and then get rid of the Downloads directory. I then installed the new Downloads 2.2 modules and it worked as advertised.
