What is the difference between these core modules?
AddStory, I can't figure out how to use it from the front end. Submit_News, I think I have it figured out, but I want to try to do some different things with it.
What I want is for my users to be able to add an article/story to a specific category/topic. Specific users would be able to add stories to specific topics (I think I saw something about that in the permissions section).
Users would be able to submit news to the topic of "Users' News", but they must be approved first before they are posted.
After I get my news staff set up, I will have several different topics with categories under each topic. News Staff member A can only submit news stories under Topic A, Category 2; Topic D, Category 1. That's for the news Staff - and other combinations depending on the staff member.
I think I can do all that through News/Submit_News.
In the permissions, I see a listing for Story/Stories/Storiesblock, but no module to work with. Same thing for Sections, it's almost like the adding of news and articles is broken up into 6 different pieces, but nobody gave me the complete picture (or any docs) so I know what to do with the pieces.
Any and all "Dummies" version help is always appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Well Mickey
forget the .7 concepts and begin the work to get familiarized with the 0.8 structure. There your desires will be implemented with ease.
Sections was renamed to "Pages", and currently has Multi-categorization views like all the others that uses Categories. I'll check the categorization permissions schemas to see how to do that, by now, install the latest SVN snapshot and play a little

cool.
thanks, Mateo.
Haven't had a chance to do that yet, but maybe before I go back to work on Sunday, I'll get the chance.
Really looking forward to .8 being "stable" and off and running.
Thanks again,
Mickey
