    Hi

Who can point me to a module or hack that integrates a capcha check on PN versions 0.7.6.x ?

    Thanks in advance

i'd suggest to simply use an individual 'spamprotect question' in .764 - far better and more effective then any captcha
    admin.php?module=User&op=getRegConfig

I concur - I have little problems with spammy registrations - lots of attempts, but none seem to register.

The only problem I have is that many will attempt to register with a dummy email - registration works, but they can't login as their email is sent to their email. When a get a mail server response that the email is invalid, I just cull that account.

.8 fixes this to some degree - by having registration be in activated / inactivated mode.

Yes icon_smile hence, why I concur...it works for me.

The dummy email problem is actual humans trying to quick register and using fake emails - nothing to do with spambots. A few minutes later, I usually see another registration with a similar name and good email.
